ZeroProof, New Mexico’s underage drinking awareness campaign, is getting national attention. RK Venture’s campaign combats the serious problem of underage drinking which can cause a host of problems including traffic fatalities and crashes.

Last year the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) presented at the 2017 Strategic Communications Forum in Washington D.C. to communicate our state’s plans and network with our colleagues. The National Law Enforcement Liaison Program (NLELP) were impressed by the ZeroProof campaign, its unique positioning and strategy, and chose to publish it as their lead article in the Law Enforcement Liaisons (LELs) newsletter, a publication whose mission is to promote national highway safety programs, initiatives and campaigns.

Back in the Cable Game with RCN

RK Venture’s illustrious run with cable companies continues with our latest client, RCN. In years past, Comcast, Bresnan Communications, Turner Broadcasting, Charter Communications, Time Warner and Cox Communications have all benefitted from branding and creative work from our team. We are now very excited to focus on RCN’s commitment to customer service and innovative technology. RCN chose RK Venture, a boutique agency with national clients, over several larger agencies to match their broad ambitions and customized care. RCN provides industry-leading high-speed Internet, all-digital TV and phone services for residential, small/medium and Enterprise business customers.

The creative is specifically tailored to RCN’s individual markets (Boston, Chicago, the Lehigh Valley (PA), New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.) while the branding is recognized throughout. Working directly with each market to best customize the creative is a collaboration we feel strengthens the effectiveness of the advertising. The campaign consists of broadcast, print, outdoor, direct mail, social media and other online and mobile methods.

There is great dissatisfaction with cable companies at the moment, and this new campaign will focus on stimulating an emotional connection with potential customers. Promoting brand loyalty is key. The goal is for customers to take pride in choosing RCN. The ads, which feature "mashed up” words combined with images of everyday people enjoying their RCN experience, describe the company's stellar product offerings and service.
